To China and Back
We made it! In the most surreal and amazing journey of a lifetime, our family of five boarded a series of planes, trains, and automobiles and were transported to the magical land of dragons. Once there we traveled to the 27th floor of a deserted government building on a hot Sunday afternoon and found a tiny girl waiting for us. In a split second, we became forever a family of six, as Xiao Zhi Yu took her place with her forever mother, father, sisters and brother.
Camryn Zhi Yu arrived in the United States only a week before her second birthday. She enjoyed a proper American birthday party and she loved the cake most of all. She is a happy, healthy toddler, who has adapted remarkably well to all the new things in her life.
I'm going to leave this blog with a few photos of Cami at home. My plan is to start a new blog of our family's ongoing adventures. I"ll post that information soon.

Sherri,
I was so happy to see the photos and read the update on your blog today. I neglected to sign up for your travel journal, so I missed out on following your journey to China. Cami Mei is lovely, so delicate and sweet. It is obvious she is pondering her new life in a deep way as she looks so thoughtful. I'll continue to follow along and watch your beautiful girl bloom. Best wishes to you and your family.
Terri
