Big Birthdays

Cami insisted it was her birthday too, but in truth only two people had real birthdays this weekend. Eighteen years ago, 16 days past his due date, my son was born on his father's birthday! We've always had double the fun and this year was really special since K was turning 18!!!

My parents took us all out for dinner at one of the "cook at your table" Japanese Steakhouses. It was delicious and Cami gave the cook a standing ovation! Kegan brought a friend with him and he was showered with gifts from his younger cousins who said they really wanted to give him a cool video game rated M for over 18!!!! Both my boys were good sports about all the singing and silly paper hats the restaurant gave them!

I feel so fortunate to have these warm celebrations and to be surrounded by family and love.
