Okay. I can no longer hide it. The secret has to be told. Mostly because it is glaringly obvious in my recent photos!
After I shared the photos and story of Cami's special and "professional" haircut, she decided since it had made Mom and Grandmom ooh and ahh over her so much that maybe it would be a good idea to cut the hair A LITTLE MORE!
The day after her first haircut, Cami gave herself her second haircut. She reached up with her small green safety scissors and cut a chunk outta the front of her hair! So your eyes are not deceiving you! The squared out area of her bangs is really there, and we did not pay someone to do THAT!
Luckily, as soon as Cami cut the hair, she tossed it in my lap. For a split second I thought it was a black feather. In the next split of the second I began to understand it was hair and it was hers. and that something terrible had happened right under my nose! I think I reacted a little dramatically because I wanted to make an impression.
While I was moaning, "Oh NOOOOOOOOO"........ Cami was in my face making the sign for "beautiful" as fast as her little hand would go. She got big crocodile tears in her eyes and was telling me, "No, mama, Beautiful...... Cami Beautiful", so I scooped her up and told her she was indeed beautiful and it was a nice addition to the style. I held her close and told her I loved her forever. And then I put the safety scissors far, far away!

OH NO!!! That is so sweet. :0) Angel
Awwww....bless her beautiful little heart. Now she and Bailey have matching bangs. Brinley did the honors on Bailey's hair.
It's growing back quickly.
Thinking of you both and sending lots of prayers for sweet Cami's surgery to go perfectly!
Hugs!
Sharon
