Jillian has been the baby of the family for many years. Now she is looking forward to being a big sister. Jillian's beginning began preparing us for special needs adoption long before we knew it's the path our life would take. Jillian was born at 28 weeks, weighing only 2.6 pounds. She endured a long hospitalization and we experienced the miracle of seeing her really thrive once we brought her home.
Jillian is peaceful, athletic, and strong. She has been training gymnastics for most of her life. But she recently decided to change directions and she is now fully a teenager in training! Oy vey! In spite of growing up after promising not to, Jillian continues to be a loving, compassionate and affectionate daughter. Her bubbling laughter and loyalty will take her far in life!
Her strengths are math and writing in school. And she is showing quite a talent for photography. I have deemed her official photographer during our trip to China. I can count on her to capture our first minutes with Cami..... and then photoshop them into fairytale pictures!
